My goals for Hive in 2024

Before I cross into this new year, I have outlined some goals I'm willing to achieve before 2024 comes to an end. There are some goals I wished to achieve last year that I couldn't that I would love to achieve this year. The hive blockchain is a platform that has helped me reach out to the world beyond my geographical location. Hive has announced me to the world not limiting me to my country alone and this is something I am grateful for. There are some communities I wish to participate more in but I couldn't do so last year due to some reasons. Hive has lots of activities that one can learn as well as earn from. I learned from this platform that learning never ends, the more you strive to achieve more knowledge, the more successful you become in your journey on the blockchain.

MY GOALS FOR HIVE

Going into a business or a career without a goal will leave one stranded in the long run, the reason for failure at times is not because one is lazy but because one doesn't have a purpose for doing whatever he or she is doing. Mistakes are meant for us to learn from and not repeat, this is why I have outlined my goals for Hive for the year 2024. What one is ignorant of will surely make one a fool, this is why as humans we must press further for knowledge, ask questions, and take calculated risks.

My first goal is to improve my writing skills and learn more ways in which I can make my write-ups more interesting to read. There are some leaders here in the hive that I look up to, I love the way they write and present their write-ups. I want to work up to that level too, I want to be able to come up with articles that will educate more people and share my thoughts and ideas with the world at large. Secondly, I want to improve my engagement in some of the well-recognized communities such as Hive Learners, LeoFinance, Ink Well and so many more. Last year I couldn't participate well in these communities because of my tight schedules, and this made me put this on my hive goal for this year.

Thirdly, improving on my engagement with other authors, I am also very poor at this end, and my on-border always makes sure I improve daily by commenting on all my posts. I want to get rid of that lazy act this year and this also is topping my chart for my 2024 hive goals. My fourth goal for Hive this year is to participate in some if not all the contests and games on the Hive blockchain. This was something I couldn't do last year because I did not know about how it's been done, I have decided to learn more about the communities that engage in different contests and games that I can be part of.

Finally, my last goal for Hive this year is to improve my knowledge of the Hive blockchain generally, I can say I say I know just 40% of what Hive is all about. That isn't a passing mark which means I need to broaden my knowledge if I want to succeed in the hive blockchain. Having more knowledge will make it easy for me to navigate my way and be more active on the blockchain thereby bringing good news to the masses. I can only tell people what I know about because bringing a newbie into the system without me having adequate knowledge to explain to him or her will later lead to frustration which might discourage such an individual. A newbie will ask a million questions that I can't answer if I don't know much about what I'm introducing to the world.

WHAT IT WILL TAKE FOR ME TO GET THERE

For me to achieve all the goals I outlined above, some factors need to be put in place. Failure to put these factors into action will leave all my goals dormant and that may leave me stagnant which I don't want. Here are some factors that will serve as driving forces to achieve my set goals.

• Consistency:- at some point, I do get tired and want to give up but with consistency, it will be easy for me to push myself harder to achieve my goals.

• Discipline:- this is a great factor for any successful man or woman, being disciplined in one's line of business or career will pave the way for success and that's undeniable.

• Focus:- being focused and disciplined might look alike but it's two different factors, you might be disciplined and not be focused. Staying focused in the sense that you know what your goals are and no matter the obstacles you might encounter on the way to achieving them, you are ready to fight them all and achieve your goals.

Humility:- someone might be wondering what has humility to do with this, it has a lot to do. Many are finding it difficult to pilot the ship of their success today because of pride. They can't learn from someone younger but more experienced than they are, some people believe that age is an achievement. For anyone who wants to succeed in his or her career or business, humility is a very important factor. So for me to achieve my set goals I'm ready to learn from whoever will teach me.

With all these factors, I can say my journey to achieving all my goals will be smooth than that of last year.
